Conscientes de la importancia de la Salud Mental en la vida de cada ciudadano, el Hospital Provincial Ricardo Limardo realizo el lanzamiento de su campaña, “Mente Sana, Vida Plena”, una iniciativa que se desarrollará del 1 de septiembre al 6 de octubre, con el objetivo de promover el bienestar emocional, la prevención y la atención integral en temas de salud mental.
El proyecto contempla una serie de actividades educativas, conferencias, espacios de diálogo, materiales informativos y un plan comunicacional a través de diferentes plataformas, diseñado para sensibilizar a la población sobre la importancia de cuidar la mente tanto como el cuerpo.“Nuestro propósito es acercar la salud mental a la gente, romper estigmas y ofrecer herramientas que permitan a las personas vivir con mayor equilibrio, bienestar y plenitud”, expresó el Dr. Johnny Hernández, Director del Hospital Provincial Ricardo Limardo.En ese mismo sentido, el Dr. Radhamés Martínez, encargado de la Unidad de Salud Mental del Hospital, destacó que la salud mental no es un juego y que iniciativas como estas representan un paso firme hacia una sociedad más consciente, solidaria y saludable.
“Mente Sana, Vida Plena” no solo busca generar conciencia, sino también abrir espacios de acompañamiento para pacientes, familiares, personal de salud y público en general, fomentando la empatía, la escucha activa y la construcción de un entorno más humano y saludable.
El Hospital Provincial Ricardo Limardo, al alinearse con las políticas gubernamentales, no solo fortalece sus servicios, sino que también establece un precedente importante para el tratamiento de la salud mental en Puerto Plata.
